A spatial and temporal dissonance.
South Lake Union as a neighborhood is with many emerging identities. It is indicative of Seattle’s transformation in the last 50 years, perhaps even the century. It is a time capsule, providing a fleeting glimpse of a city in its past, present, and future.
Seattle is a city of music. For this reason, a medium befitting in expressing the dissonance I felt during the dérive. Each song and artist represent a period, the peak and valley volume of the time — as I drift, in South Lake Union.
